Exhibition

Featuring the local work of pre-war émigré architects and post-war immigrants and their significant and long-lasting contribution to mid-twentieth design.

Featuring rarely seen architectural plans and pieces from the Mosman Local Studies collection of Vande Souvenir Pottery from the 1950s and 1960s.

In 1948 Samuel Vandesluis, a set designer, arrived in Sydney, purchased an established pottery at 566 Military Road, renamed it Vande Pottery and commenced producing Australian souvenir ware.
