History Talk
Mark Windsor is an international athlete and coach, Life member of the Bathurst Cycling Club, President of Western Division Cycling, Vice President CycleSafe Bathurst and Manager of Bathurst Cycling’s Esports Team.
In this BDHS Monthly Muster for History Week, hear about the birth of cycling in Australia and the part Bathurst played and about the local citizens of the late 1880s, which was a time of great change in the world. Mark Windsor will also discuss one of the Bathurst District Historical Society’s greatest treasures, the Penny Farthing, with the aim of locking down its place in the city’s history.
The talk will be followed by tea, coffee and a light supper.
