Online History for Primary Students 

Sydney Living Museums and the State Archives and Records Authority bring History alive for your students during History Week 2022 with five days of Primary School student lessons online.

Each day a museum educator will showcase a special object from our collections in a series of bite-sized virtual sessions.

Each session is paired with a hands-on activity to complete in the classroom.


  • Mon 5 Sept 2pm Picturing the Past at Rouse Hill Estate
  • Tues 6 Sept 2pm Convict ingenuity at the Hyde Park Barracks
  • Wed 7 Sept 2pm Objects about Gadi Country from the Museum of Sydney
  • Thurs 8 Sept 2pm Lighting up the Past at Vaucluse House
  • Fri 9 Sept 2pm Convict Ticket of Leave records from the NSW State Archives

Please note this is an online event via Zoom webinar. Details will be sent to you after registering. 

This is an event designed to carter to students in Primary School aged 5-12 and their class teachers. For registration details and more specific details about each session go to the Sydney Living Museums website page outlining the event. 


Cost:  $50  for the whole week, sessions start 2pm daily
