Workshop - An Introduction to Wikipedia
Learn the basics of editing Wikipedia! Join Wikimedians Toby Hudson and Annie Reynolds to learn basics of editing at Darling Square Library, Sydney. Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia with content created and edited worldwide by volunteer contributors. For History Week, The City of Sydney Library has joined this movement in partnership with Wikimedia Australia to host an edit-a-thon to increase and improve content relevant to our diverse Sydney communities. No experience needed. Just sign up for a Wikipedia account in advance and bring along your laptop and connect to the library’s free wifi!
