The City of Edinburgh sailed from Norfolk Island to Hobart on 9 September 1808 as part of Norfolk Island’s evacuation orders pertaining to the closure of the Island’s settlement. Historian Cathy Dunn reviews the range of primary records of this voyage of over 250 passengers.
