In person talk
Duncan Page truly is one of a kind. Belonging to the golden generation of Australian athletes that inspired our lives in the 20th Century, Duncan’s impressive resume cites dual Olympian, first grade St George Rugby League Football Club player and Australian beach sprint champion.
This History Week, the legendary sportsman will sit down with author and longtime friend, Hunter Calder, who penned his captivating life story, Unstoppable: The Life of Duncan Page.
The pair will discuss Duncan’s recollections of a bygone era and his inspiring life, which saw him represent his country at what he did best despite crippling setbacks.
While we all welcome you to the library, please be aware of the following:
• Bookings are essential
• Please be ready to show your ticket – either show us on your phone or print your ticket
• Please note: the author will have copies of Unstoppable: The Life of Duncan Page available for purchase on the day. However, these will be cash only.
• If you feel unwell, please stay home
• Staff are here to help, not to be hurt. Aggressive and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
