Guided Ride: Water Stories - Tracing Green Square’s waterways
Engaging with the History Week 2025 theme of ‘Water Stories’, this fun and informative guided bicycle tour traces the history and stories of the former wetlands and creeks around Alexandria, Zetland, Waterloo and St Peters, and how they intersect with urban development and infrastructure in the area.
Join our special guest speakers starting at the High Water art installation, outside Green Square Library.
Guided rides are led by friendly ride leaders from Pedal Set Go for the City of Sydney.
You'll need:
- Your own roadworthy bike and helmet
- Water bottle and snacks
Please arrive at 8.45am for a 9.00am ride departure. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The Cycling in the City course will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.
