Walking tour

Venture on a walking tour with the Heritage team and discover the history, architecture and hidden treasures of Smithfield Town centre and beyond.

Notes:

  • Please arrive on time for registration.
  • We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes as the walk is well over three hours in duration..
  • Please wear sunscreen and a hat (for sunny days) or an umbrella and wet weather gear (for rainy days)
  • Bring water and some snacks . Refreshment is also available at Holland House at your own expense.
The walk is suitable for adult and families with children, aged 10 years and over. All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/carer. This walk requires a basic level of fitness, it is conducted on mostly on wide pavements so a reasonable level of mobility is required.
